Custom artwork captures the imagination, tells a personal story, and becomes a treasured keepsake throughout the years. It can be an incredible special gift for a loved one or for yourself to commemorate a special place or time in life. I currently offer commissioned artworks that capture places and spaces. This includes house portraits, landscapes, cityscapes, and interiors. Over the past few years these have been some of the most requested custom paintings, and they also happen to be my favorite pieces to create.

How it works:

1. First, decide on the subject of your piece. If you are unsure of the specific place you want to capture in the painting, we can talk through this together. Here are some ideas:

  • Your first home

  • A view from a trip taken recently

  • A favorite city or landmark

  • The restaurant where you had your first date

  • Your grandmother’s kitchen

2. Choose a size for your artwork (standard sizes & pricing are listed below*). You will want to consider the size of the frame when you think about artwork sizing. If you’re unsure of the dimensions, we can talk through this together and find the size that works best for your space as well as your budget.

3. Submit your request by clicking the button below. Check the box for “Commissioned Artwork,” and tell me about the subject matter and artwork size the Notes section. If you are interesting in learning more about having your artwork custom framed, leave me a note about that as well.

4. I will review your request and get back to you with more information and next steps for your project!

Time Frame:

I currently have a three-week lead time on all commissions. This means that paintings will take around three weeks to complete starting from the date your project begins (contract signed and invoice paid).

Pricing:

8x10: $250
11x14: $350
16x20: $500
